The Blood Bank caters to the needs of all the patients of the Hospital. All blood collected is split into various components like Packed cells, Fresh Frozen Plasma, Cryoprecipitate, Platelets, and Single Donor Platelets on request.

Blood Bank Services: – Facilities for whole blood, all components like RBC, FFP, platelets, and platelet apheresis. The first center to start platelet apheresis. We have two Baxter apheresis machines both single and double needle. Only blood bank in this region to have to oppress – 2 machines for leukoreduced components. All tests are done as per WHO guidelines and 4th generation kits are used for testing. For blood group & cross match GEL technology is used. Products are available.
